Week #5: Camping [ Interrogative Q&A ]
In Camping Week:
-We met "G" on Monday and he interviewed 2-3 of us at a time. Meanwhile, we wrote about where we wanted to go camping (desert, forest, on top of a mountain...), and then we made a paper tent with a model of our face inside! Then we decorated the campsite with our location.
-We reviewed Interrogatives, then sung the interrogative song. We went over the key english phrase
____Who, What, Where, When, Why, How____ did you ___verb______?
Then played the canoe game and fishing game! (reviewing the interrogative questions, and giving good answers)
-We brought flashlights and went camping during night-time. We looked at the stars, and made our big blanket tent. Then we told stories, sung camp songs! Today we learned about why "G" had to hunt "Daisymort" down immediately and revealed the secret about "true names".
-We went outside and played the Virus Games.
-We hunted Daisymort down in a epic showdown (used dice as dodgeball bullets). And then killed her with G's Japanese Star (that can kill anything). Her body was made of marshmellows and we cooked it with lighters. The "Smores" were very yummy! Then we gathered around our small fire and talked about what we wanted to do when camping.
