Winter Camp - 4th Grade (week 2)
"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Musical
Monday:
1.) Gave english names & played Heads up, Seven Up Name Ice-breaker Game
2.) Watched the Grinch Cartoon & Asked Questions & Assigned Roles for Musical
3.) EBS (Cleaning Day) - Vocabulary Acquisition. Look & Remember. Listen & Show. Aladdin & Genie (Look & Listen & Recall).
4.) EBS (Cleaning Day) -Word Ready (see picture, and say the word connected to it); Play the telephone game (student at the end does the appropriate action).
Tuesday:
1.) Go over the script. Pronunication & Translation.
2.) EBS (What are you playing?) - Vocabulary Acquisition (connected hand motion with word; practiced listening via show motion through hearing the word; quized students by asking them going around the room) & went over the expression "What are you doing?" Did the Look and Listen activity.
3.) EBS (What are you playing?) -Reviewed "What are you doing" & "I am ____ing" / "I am playing the ______." in more detail. Review, plug the vocabulary under the correct phrase, then the guess the picture and matching the vocabulary in the expression game (student pictures and hidden activity guessing game); followed by Show & Run Game
4.) Broke into 3 groups and practiced script & delivery; Practiced the songs "Mariah Carey's Santa Clause is coming to Town" & "What are you doing?"

1.) Doing Arts & Craft Activity (make the christmas tree)
